Zeitgenössische truppeninterne Literatur zum Einsatz im Polen- und Westfeldzug sind an sich schon recht selten, Einsatzberichte der Einheiten der Heeres - aber auch der Divisionsartillerie zu finden - gleicht einem 6er im Lotto, es gibt nicht sehr viele. Und wenn es welche gab, sind bedingt durch die Kriegseinflüsse nur wenige in Sammlerhand oder im Bundesarchiv erhalten geblieben. Ich möchte zukünftig verstärkt diese vergessenen Einheiten anhand von zeitgenössischer Literatur vorstellen - ergänzt durch eigene Rechercheergebnisse und privaten Erlebnisberichten - welche oft genug nur in Ministückzahlen für familiäre Zwecke vervielfältigt wurden. Den Anfang macht das Artillerie-Regiment 2 der 2.
Infanterie-Division, zu welchem bis Oktober 1939 auch die Beobachtungs-Abteilung 2 gehörte.
