Overview

"Little Passenger" is the opening story for the collection. It's about an urban legend of a girl named Katrina trying to find her way home. When Brett and Ruby come upon her and offer the girl a ride home. In "Light Night in the Office" Micah stays to work late on a project when he notices he is the only one there. Hearing clicking heels in the hallway outside his office, he goes to look, making him wish he hadn't. "Charlie's Hotel" is about Hayden who was long over do for a vacation decides to go out of town, arriving at a run-down hotel where he unluckily has a loud next-door neighbor.
When he goes to the front desk to complain, he finds out some eerie news. In "Hitchhiking can be Dangerous."  Alice moves to Clare Viewpoint to have a fresh start at life. Trying to save on what little money she has, she asks strangers for a ride, but when she asks Elis can he really be trusted to get her destination?
