Overview
La broderie Kogin est une technique artisanale assez similaire au sashiko, issue de la région de Tsugaru au nord du Japon. A l'origine, utilisée pour renforcer les tissus et garder la chaleur des vêtements, elle est aujourd'hui un art décoratif à part entière. Les motifs traditionnels sont composés de losanges brodés en nombres impairs et la facilité d'exécution permet de broder, une fois maîtrisée la composition du motif, sans regarder les diagrammes.
