Thymosin Beta 4 Receptor | Effect of toll-like receptor activation on thymosin beta-4
Thymosin Beta-4 - an overview | ScienceDirect Topics
Thymosin beta-4 (Tβ4) is an actin-binding intracellular peptide that promotes wound healing, tissue remodeling, and angiogenesis. The mechanism of Tβ4 secretion to the extracellular environment is not understood. The macrophage is a rich source of Tβ4 which also participates in wound healing process. Thymosin beta-4 Thymosin beta-4 is a small peptide with G actin-sequestering action. It is associated with induction of angiogenesis, accelerated wound healing, and increased metastatic potential of tumor cells. Thymosin beta-4 promotes angiogenesis, wound repair, and hair growth in normal and aged rodents [6 ].

Thymosin alpha 1 and thymosin beta 4 are two hormone peptides that are secreted from the thymus and have vastly different chemical compositions and immunological actions. These proteins are separated from thymosin fraction 5 and have the potential to change a variety of immune functions in mammals.
Thymosin beta-4 - Wikipedia
Thymosin beta-4 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TMSB4X gene.. A candidate extracellular receptor of high affinity for thymosin β 4 is the β subunit of cell surface-located ATP synthase, which would allow extracellular thymosin to signal via a purinergic receptor.
Thymosin beta 4 improves dermal burn wound healing via
Thymosin beta 4 improves dermal burn wound healing via downregulation of receptor of advanced glycation end products in db/db mice Our results suggest the potential importance of Tβ4 as a new therapy for impaired burn wound healing that is associated with diabetes. best site (Links to an external site.)
Thymosin beta4 | C212H350N56O78S - PubChem
Thymosin beta is a multifunctional tissue repair and regeneration peptide ( Philp D, 2010 ). It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antifibrotic properties ( Shah R, 2018 ). TB4 is involved in tissue repair and regeneration, wound healing, inflammation and fibrosis (the formation of scar tissue) ( Goldstein AL K. H., 2015) and ( Renga, 2018 ).
Thymosin βeta 4 Increases Hair Growth by Activating Hair Follicle Stem Cells. "Thymosin β4, a ubiquitous 4.9‐kDa polypeptide originally isolated from bovine thymus, is a potent mediator of cell migration and differentiation. It was identified as a gene up‐ regulated four‐ to sixfold during early endothelial cell tube formation and found to promote angiogenesis.
